On June 9, Chery released official images of the Arrizo 8 Conquest Edition, a compact sedan under its brand, offering two engines: a 1.6T and a 2.0T.

In terms of exterior, the Arrizo 8 Conquest Edition largely continues the design style of the current model, with some optimizations made mainly in the details. The front face has been fitted with a black honeycomb grille, and a full-width chrome trim strip connects the slim headlamp clusters on both sides with the central logo, which has been changed from the previous three-dimensional style to a flat design.

The side is equipped with new-style 18-inch blacked-out wheels, blacked-out exterior mirrors and window trim. The rear adopts a full-width taillight cluster, with the Chery brand English logo added in the center, and features a new dual-exit quad rectangular exhaust layout, while retaining the bottom diffuser shape. Its length, width and height are 4780 mm, 1843 mm and 1469 mm respectively (the 2.0T version is 1489 mm high), with a wheelbase of 2790 mm.

In terms of interior, the Arrizo 8 Conquest Edition continues the cockpit design style of the current model. The center console area adopts a dual 12.3-inch screen connected layout, equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and supports Android Carlink, Baidu CarLife and Huawei HiCar. It is equipped with a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with manual four-way adjustment.

In terms of power, the Arrizo 8 Conquest Edition offers three powertrain combinations: 1.6T+7DCT wet dual-clutch transmission, 2.0T+7DCT wet dual-clutch transmission, and 2.0T+8-speed automatic transmission. The 1.6T engine has a maximum power of 147 kW and a maximum torque of 310 N·m; the 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 192 kW and a maximum torque of 400 N·m.

Xiao Tang's view: The Arrizo 8 is Chery's first compact sedan built on the 4.0 technology platform, with front MacPherson and rear multi-link independent suspension as standard across the range, and the overall chassis tuning leans toward comfort, balancing family use and daily travel. On the basis of the original chassis quality, the Arrizo 8 Conquest Edition has made a slight increase in power parameters and has made the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip standard across the range, which can be regarded as a fairly practical supplement for daily use.
