On December 29, news came that the Baojun Huajing S, jointly developed by SAIC-GM-Wuling and Huawei, is planned to go on sale in the first half of 2026. The new car is built on the Tianyu Architecture L platform and comes standard across the lineup with the Huawei HarmonySpace 5 cockpit, HUAWEI ADS 4 Pro advanced intelligent driving, HUAWEI IVCS vehicle cloud, and Huawei in-cabin laser vision (Limera), leading its class in in-car ecosystem and smoothness.

In terms of appearance, according to the latest official images released, the front face of the Baojun Huajing S adopts a star-ring-style headlight assembly, which is quite recognizable when lit. The Baojun brand logo is located at the transition between the front face and the front hood, with a large trapezoidal grille at the bottom, and the U-shaped front bumper presents a sense of support. The new car's through-type taillight echoes the front headlights when lit, and there are designs similar to air vents on both sides of the rear bumper, making the entire rear styling steady. The new car's length, width, and height are 5235/1999/1800mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3105mm.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with Lingxi Power 3.0 (1.5T engine + electric motor), among which the 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 105 kW, and it offers battery packs with two capacities of 31 kWh and 41.9 kWh. The pure electric range has three versions: 130 kilometers, 160 kilometers, and 175 kilometers, with a combined range of 1200 km+.

Dada commentary: The Baojun Huajing S is positioned as a mid-to-large plug-in hybrid SUV and is a product of deep cooperation between SAIC-GM-Wuling and Huawei. Its core advantages are large space, Huawei intelligent driving, and high cost-effectiveness. The competitors of the Baojun Huajing S include models such as the Geely Galaxy M9, Leapmotor C16, AITO M7, and Li Auto L8. It is almost fully loaded in terms of intelligent configuration, with standard Huawei Qiankun intelligent driving ADS 4, HarmonySpace 5 cockpit, and Qiankun Vehicle Cloud IVCS across the lineup, supporting urban NCA and highway NOA. If the price is set in the 150,000-200,000 range, it is expected to become a hit model in this segment.
