On October 27, the official exterior images of the new Xiangjie S9, a mid-to-large sedan under HIMA, were released. The new Xiangjie S9 comes standard with four lidars, adds microphones on the exterior, and continues to offer both pure electric and extended-range powertrains. It will complete its market launch in November.

In terms of exterior, as a model-year facelift, the new car's appearance is basically consistent with the current Xiangjie S9. The badge has been replaced with the new "Star of the Universe" badge, and the light cluster has been replaced with the "Radiant Galaxy" headlight assembly. Optional items such as smart electric doors, smart electronic exterior rearview mirrors, and Huawei million-pixel smart headlights have been added.

The new car adds two wheel rim styles, and the rear adopts a new nebula-through taillight. The body's length, width, and height are 5160/2005/1492 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3050 mm, positioning it as a mid-to-large sedan.

In terms of power, the pure electric version of the new car has already completed filing with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The pure electric version is built on an 800V high-voltage platform, with a motor maximum power of 227 kilowatts. The pure electric version of the new car has a range of over 800 kilometers, while the CLTC comprehensive range of the extended-range model may exceed 1300 kilometers.

Dada review: The Xiangjie brand was jointly created by Huawei and BAIC. The Xiangjie S9 is positioned as an executive-level luxury sedan. The currently on-sale extended-range version is priced between 309,800 and 369,800 yuan, while the pure electric version is priced between 399,800 and 449,800 yuan. The Xiangjie S9 has strong power, with the four-wheel-drive model accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The exterior changes of the new Xiangjie S9 are not significant, with only the replacement of the "Star of the Universe badge," the provision of new wheel rim styles, and support for more optional items. The new car's assisted driving system has been upgraded to Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 4, equipped with more high-precision sensors, and microphones have also been added on the exterior. It is expected to add a 3-distributed 4D millimeter-wave radar matrix, further improving intelligent driving capability and active safety.
