The Deepal L06 Trailblazer Edition will officially launch in October. Based on the current model, the new car adds a track-oriented racing kit and has partnered with Intel to create an in-car AI BOX, bringing PC-level on-device AI computing power to the 150,000-yuan class market.

The AI BOX is the core of this upgrade. The system integrates vehicle perception data and works with an on-device large model to achieve a shift from "command-execution" to proactive scenario perception.

In terms of exterior, the Trailblazer Edition is equipped with a full track-oriented kit, including three-dimensional front air blades, an integrated front splitter, side skirt air blade trim pieces, and a fixed carbon fiber large rear wing. After aerodynamic optimization, it can generate up to 1000N of downforce at high speed.

For power, refer to the on-sale L06: the range-extender version is equipped with a 1.5L range extender (72kW) paired with a 175kW rear-drive motor, with a CLTC pure electric range of 245km; the pure electric version has a rear-drive single motor with a maximum power of 200kW, with a choice of 560km and 670km ranges.

At the brand level, Deepal's global sales in September were 30,185 vehicles, with cumulative sales from January to September reaching 252,213 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 8.59%. At the end of September, the 1 millionth complete vehicle officially rolled off the line.

Quick comment:

Offering PC-level computing power in the 150,000-yuan class looks on the surface like stacking specs, but thinking deeper, it is a signal that AI capabilities are penetrating from flagship models into mainstream price ranges. The logic of AIBOX is not about benchmark scores, but about putting perception and decision-making locally, eliminating the latency of cloud round trips and avoiding the privacy issues of data uploads. From "giving commands" to "proactive perception," this entry point is more worth pondering than simply stacking configurations.
