On September 1, Yueda Kia announced that the 2027 Kia K3 was officially launched. A total of 5 models were introduced, with an official guide price of 97,300 to 115,300 yuan, and a direct price cut of 15,600 yuan across the lineup. Among them, the 1.5L Comfort Premium Edition has a nationwide "one-price" of only 69,900 yuan.

Since the K3 entered the Chinese market in 2012, it has accumulated the trust of more than one million consumers. This facelift has little change in appearance, still featuring a tiger-nose front face paired with a through-type honeycomb grille, and the through-type taillight is not absent either. The body dimensions are 4666/1780/1450mm, and the wheelbase is 2700mm.

The interior is equipped with dual 10.25-inch instrument panel and central control screen, with an LCD visible gear shifter and 71-color ambient lighting.

The comfort configuration is quite complete, with a 10-way power driver's seat, front seat ventilation/heating, steering wheel heating, mobile phone wireless charging, and BLE Bluetooth key. The 1.5L Comfort Premium Edition also adds a 1,000-yuan "Yuexiang Package" option, including a 10-way power driver's seat and rear air conditioning vents.

The entire lineup comes standard with an L2-level assisted driving system, integrating more than ten functions such as FCA forward collision avoidance assist, NSCC navigation-based smart cruise, HDA highway driving assist, and LFA lane following assist, and is equipped with 6 airbags. The infotainment system is equipped with Kia Connect smart connectivity, supporting OTA upgrades, car-home interconnection, and dual-zone voice recognition.

The entire lineup is powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, with 115 horsepower and 143.9N·m, paired with an IVT continuously variable transmission. WLTC fuel consumption is as low as 5.55L/100km. One tank of fuel can run more than 900 kilometers.

Quick comment:

Buying a joint-venture family sedan with L2 smart driving, seat ventilation and heating, and dual large screens for 69,900 yuan was unimaginable just a few years ago. With a direct price cut of 15,600 yuan across the lineup, Kia has indeed brought the price down this time. Fuel efficiency and durability are the K3's longtime strengths. With 5.5L fuel consumption and 92-octane gasoline, daily driving does not hurt the wallet. The infotainment system is not flashy and the power is not fierce, but for 70,000 yuan, buying a reliable joint-venture commuter car is worth considering.
