On May 29, at the Qijing GT7 pre-sale launch event, Qijing, the high-end new energy vehicle brand jointly created by GAC and Huawei, officially announced the name of its second model—the Qijing GX7. As Qijing's first large five-seat SUV, the new vehicle targets the "big players who enjoy life" demographic.

According to the official introduction, the letter "G" in GX7 stands for Grand, continuing the brand's family naming system from GT7 to GX7; "X" symbolizes multiple meanings such as eXploration, eXtreme, and eXpansion, expressing the brand's boundless spirit of exploration; the number "7" indicates that it belongs to the same 7-series product lineup as the GT7.

In terms of target audience, the Qijing GX7 mainly targets user groups who are in a stage of life advancement. This group is defined as "big players who enjoy life"—they maintain personal passions while also valuing family companionship, and they have requirements for both vehicle space and design. Based on this, the GX7 focuses on a "big and beautiful" product character, inheriting Qijing's million-class family design and continuing the GT7's pioneering and distinctive styling, while also providing ample space through a 3-meter ultra-long wheelbase, aiming to meet users' dual needs of balancing personal passions and family companionship.

Qijing stated that the GX7 and GT7 share the same origin and soul, sharing an outstanding design philosophy and high-end quality DNA. The two models complement each other: the GT7 satisfies pioneering users' desire for individual expression and driving control, while the GX7 strengthens the mainstream large five-seat SUV market, together forming Qijing's "one brand, two top-tier products" product layout.

At the channel level, Qijing's related experience and service network is expected to cover 70 cities nationwide and more than 300 stores by the end of June, including two types of stores: Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving authorized experience centers and Qijing user centers. It adopts a dual-track operation model of experience centers and user centers, respectively undertaking functions such as product experience, delivery, and after-sales service. Qijing's related experience and service network uniformly displays Huawei's English logo "HUAWEI," and service standards are implemented according to Huawei's system. It is understood that the existing dealer network includes investors who have switched from traditional luxury brands to join as franchisees.

Regarding detailed product information and the market launch timeline for the GX7, officials said they will be disclosed successively afterward. Please stay tuned.
