On October 22, the first all-electric model from the FAW-Volkswagen Jetta brand, the M6, will officially launch. Three trims, with presale prices of 80,800, 90,800, and 99,800 yuan. The top trim is under 100,000 yuan, yet comes with urban NOA—among joint-venture brands, no second company has ever done this before.

Intelligent driving is where this car makes the least sense. The top-trim 555 Ultra version is equipped with the Kuiruicheng intelligent assisted driving solution, a Horizon Journey 6M chip, 11 cameras, 1 millimeter-wave radar, and 12 ultrasonic radars. It supports urban NOA, highway NOA, cross-level memory parking, and trace reversing. This system relies on the GAIA2.0 world model, with more than one million kilometers of effective validation mileage per day, and incorporates the driving experience of more than 100 state-guest-level drivers. Kuiruicheng's delivery director summarized it as "drives steadily, parks smoothly, and holds its ground." Within 100,000 yuan, Jetta M6 is the first to make urban navigation assist standard.

The cabin takes a "fits everyone" approach. The entire lineup comes standard with a 15.6-inch 2.5K large screen, and unusually for the industry, it simultaneously integrates three major AI models: Doubao, Tongyi Qianwen, and DeepSeek. It supports more than 650 types of voice commands, and can even recognize vague colloquial speech, so older people can use it without learning. CarPlay, HiCar, and CarLink are all compatible. Higher trims also offer front-seat ventilation, heating, massage, electric lumbar support, memory convenience entry, and 50W wireless charging.

In space and comfort, there is a detail that is easy to overlook. The wheelbase is 2820mm, with a room utilization rate of 91.3%, creating B-segment rear space from an A-segment positioning. With the second row folded down, the expanded volume reaches 1800L, enough for a stroller and camping gear. The seats use cloud-feel zero-pressure material, and the front row has ventilation, heating, and massage. This car specifically includes an "anti-motion sickness mode"—for users with elderly family members or children prone to car sickness, the practical value of this feature may be higher than a pile of flashy configurations.
There was no compromise on the three electric components and safety. It is equipped with a nine-in-one electric drive from CRRC, sharing technology heritage with the Fuxing high-speed rail, and has undergone full-vehicle testing through two winters and two summers. There are two range versions, 465km and 555km, with minimum power consumption of 10.5kWh per 100 kilometers, and a per-kilometer usage cost of about 5 cents. High-strength steel accounts for 86% of the body, with a maximum strength of 2000MPa, and the vehicle's torsional rigidity is 38073N·m. The battery has completed 436 safety tests

Presale benefits include 1,000 yuan offsetting 2,000 yuan, 600 limited-edition personalized color-change films, a choice between a charging wall box or a charge-discharge all-in-one gun, a trade-in subsidy starting at 4,000 yuan, and priority production scheduling for presale orders.
Starting at 80,800 yuan, you can buy a pure electric family sedan with a German chassis, high-speed-rail-derived electric drive, and urban NOA. The Jetta M6 is the first card in Jetta brand's new energy transformation, and also an attempt to redraw the intelligent threshold in the 100,000-yuan-class pure electric market. The price will be officially announced on October 22. Those hesitating between the Qin PLUS EV and AION S should go to a Jetta store, sit in the rear seat, and then try whether that urban navigation system is actually usable.
