At the 2025 Shanghai International Auto Show, Cadillac held a brand launch event under the theme "LOVE DRIVES THE FUTURE," where its LOVE all-electric family—the LYRIQ-V, OPTIQ, VISTIQ, and ESCALADE IQ—gathered for the first time globally, fully demonstrating the brand's ambition and strength in the field of electrification. As the first all-electric model of Cadillac's high-performance V series, the LYRIQ-V set a new brand record with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.3 seconds, becoming the "fastest Cadillac in history." At the same time, Cadillac, through industry-first innovations such as an in-cabin hidden LiDAR, L2 full-scenario advanced driver assistance technology, and a 70-inch dual-focal-plane AR-HUD, interpreted its electrification manifesto of "no compromise on design, no compromise on safety, no compromise on experience," setting a new benchmark for luxury all-electric mobility.

The LOVE all-electric family covers all scenarios and meets diversified needs

The first letters of the four models unveiled this time cleverly form "LOVE," which not only conveys the brand's passion for the future, but also, with a differentiated product matrix, covers the mid-size, upper-mid-size, large, and full-size SUV markets, precisely meeting the diversified needs of high-end users.

LYRIQ-V: The ultimate expression of all-electric performance

As the first all-electric model of the V series, the LYRIQ-V perfectly carries the track genes of the combustion era into the electric era. Its exterior adopts an exclusive Flowing Silver color and matte texture design, paired with the V Performance high-performance aerodynamic kit, giving the body a lower stance and a strong visual impact. In terms of power, the LYRIQ-V is equipped with a high-performance silicon carbide electric drive system, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, joining the "three-second club." In addition, its original four customized simulated soundscapes (rev, acceleration, braking, and Le Mans LMDh) restore a real track experience through speakers inside and outside the vehicle, and together with Brembo customized six-piston calipers and the Ultium battery's record of zero spontaneous combustion over 900 million kilometers, it balances extreme driving control with safety assurance.

VISTIQ and ESCALADE IQ: Dual evolution of technology and presence

The "small Escalade" VISTIQ, as the first model equipped with an in-cabin hidden LiDAR, seamlessly integrates high-precision sensors into the body design, balancing aesthetics with all-weather detection capability; the full-size flagship SUV ESCALADE IQ, with its majestic presence, interprets American luxury and serves as the flagship representative of the brand's electrification layout.

OPTIQ: An innovative experience in the intelligent cockpit

With a 33-inch 9K Mini LED wraparound ultra-retina curved screen, a 70-inch dual-focal-plane AR-HUD, and a 7.1.4 cinema-grade audio system jointly created with AKG and Dolby, the OPTIQ redefines the luxury standard of the intelligent cockpit. The number of speakers has been upgraded from 19 to 23, and combined with Dolby Atmos technology, users can clearly distinguish the direction of instruments, with an immersion comparable to a top-tier concert hall.

Leading industry transformation through innovation

Cadillac's multiple "industry firsts" in the fields of intelligence and safety have become the core competitiveness of its electrification strategy.

Against the backdrop of the industry generally adopting a "watchtower-style" LiDAR layout, Cadillac pioneered an in-cabin hidden design, embedding the sensor behind the front windshield. This not only avoids the impact of severe external weather on detection accuracy, but also reduces the risk of collision damage, while maintaining the simplicity and elegance of the body design.

Based on the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin chip and Momenta's end-to-end large model, Cadillac has achieved an intelligent driving experience where "you can drive wherever there is a road, and park wherever there is a spot." The three-level progressive warning DMS driver attention monitoring system uses eye-tracking technology to ensure the driver remains focused throughout, eliminating the potential risk of over-reliance on assistance systems.

The segment's largest dual-focal-plane AR-HUD can project navigation information and traffic signs in layers, with the near focal plane displaying real-time driving data and the far focal plane virtually overlaying road guidance, truly achieving safe driving with "eyes never leaving the road."

Embracing the electric future with warm technology
Cadillac understands well that electrification is not only an iteration of technology, but also a comprehensive upgrade of user experience. From the track passion of the LYRIQ-V to the flagship presence of the ESCALADE IQ, from the pragmatism of the hidden LiDAR to the sensory feast of Dolby Atmos, the brand has always put user needs at the core, transforming a century of automotive heritage into "technology with warmth."

At the event, brand ambassador Fan Zhendong vividly interpreted the brand spirit with the formula "100% courage + 100% love = 100% Cadillac." Cadillac's global senior executives also emphasized that China, as the world's most important market, will be given priority access to the latest technologies and products. In the future, the brand will continue to work with technology giants such as NVIDIA, Momenta, and AKG to promote the deep integration of intelligent driving and luxury experience.

Xia's comment: advancing with both gasoline and electricity, leaving no one behind

A 123-year brand history has given Cadillac the confidence to dare to break through. In the wave of electrification, the LOVE all-electric family is not only the culmination of technological strength, but also the brand's affectionate confession to the future of luxury mobility. Although fully betting on electrification, Cadillac has not ignored the needs of gasoline vehicle users. The brand promises to "put 100% effort into 50% of gasoline vehicle users," meeting the expectations of different consumer groups through a diversified product matrix.
